“My training period at ASE Optics was a very positive experience, both for the learning methodology and the knowledge acquired. Currently, I am part of the Mechanical Engineering team.”

My name is Adrián Vizuete and I am a mechanical engineer graduated from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). I had the opportunity to do my university internship at ASE Optics and, currently, I am part of the Mechanical Engineering team. Why did you choose ASE Optics Europe for your internship? ASE Optics Europe ensured that I could apply everything I had learned during my undergraduate studies. The internship gave me new insights into the world of optics, which I was able to combine with the field of mechanics. In addition, it has given me professional experience to start my way in the working world. What is your role at ASE Optics Europe? At the moment, I develop the mechanical components that complete the optical systems, from the design to the realization of the documentation for their manufacture. Throughout this process, research and the study of necessary solutions adapted to the customer’s needs play a fundamental role in the development of the integrated and customized optical systems that we design at ASE Optics Europe. How would you define your experience at ASE Optics Europe? The university internship at ASE Optics was a very positive experience. The learning methodology received to perform my role in the company and the knowledge acquired during that time was really satisfactory. In addition, the team of professionals that make up ASE Optics has a great human value and great professionalism. It is a highly qualified multidisciplinary team with extensive knowledge in the field of optics. Learn more about Adrian and other members of our team.
