What is your role at ASE Optics Europe?
I started my career at ASE Optics in 2020. Currently, I’m in charge of the production and editing part, focused on electronic aspects.
What encouraged you to work at ASE Optics?
The optical industry was new to me. Working at ASE Optics has made me realize how broad this field is and how many different aspects it encompasses.
Initially, what I found most interesting was to see how optics, mechanics and electronics combine to realize the integrated optical systems we developed.
¿Qué es lo que más te valoras de trabajar en ASE Optics?
Working in this sector means that you are always involved in new projects, no day is like the previous one. There is always something new to deal with. All of this has allowed me to gain a great deal of experience within ASE Optics.
Every day I am learning more about the industry with the different members of the team.
And what has been one of the biggest challenges you have faced and how did you overcome it?
One of my first challenges when I arrived at ASE Optics three years ago was to fully assemble one of our projects, both the electronics and the wiring.
At the beginning, it was quite complicated to interpret all the documentation and to understand how it worked, in order to optimize the whole assembly. But at the same time, the fact that different challenges arise throughout your professional career is precisely what makes us learn and improve day by day.
Describe ASE Optics in one sentence.
