Thomas Siegel, director de I+D en ASE Optics, presenta el paper: “Design and integration of a SWIR objective for the space-borne DRAGO-2 optical system”, dentro de la conferencia SPIE Optics+Photonics (San Diego, EEUU).
We will present the design and manufacturing process of the lens for the DRAGO-2 optical system, a compact SWIR camera designed for Earth observation within the ALISIO-1 microsatellite mission of the IACTEC-Space team of the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC). The lens has an athermal refractive design covering both bands of the SWIR range, with a focal length of 150 mm, high transmission and relative illumination above 90%, and low distortion below 0.05%, with excellent optical quality and an as-built MTF value at 33 cl/mm above 55% on axis and above 40% at the edge of the field.
