Abstract : ASE Optics (www.aseoptics.com) is an optical engineering company specialised in the design and development of custom optical systems. Dr. Thomas Siegel will be presenting the technical capacity of ASE Optics and some of the collaborative projects ASE has been involved in over the years. ASE Optics has designed optical systems for French institutions such as ESRF or ITER, and collaborated as an SME partner in publicly funded projects with academic partners such as ETH (Zurich), DIT (Dublin) or ICFO (Spain). ASE will present possible pathways to collaborative developments as active partners in a consortium or contractors or sub-contractors. ASE has the design capacity and experience to develop functional subsystems implementable in research setups or help industrialise designs with the view of commercialising academic discoveries.
