On September 13th and 14th we will attend the event “Photonics at final Frontier” to be held at the European Space Agency (ESA) and organized by EPIC – European Photonics Industry Consortium. In this face-to-face meeting, information will be shared on how photonics is becoming a key technology within the space engineering sector and will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and opinions on the technologies that are currently targeting new space applications. The design and development of optics for aerospace applications and space instrumentation is one of ASE Optics Europe’s fields of expertise. For example, our role in the design and development of a custom SWIR lens for the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) to be incorporated in the DRAGO-2 camera within the framework of its ALISIO-1 mission; or our participation in the MORERA project, a pioneering project in irrigation monitoring through the development of new space sensors. Contact us for more information on ASE Optics’ projects and capabilities in this sector!
