Design of optical systems Madrid
ASE Optics Europe at the Systems Optical Design (SPIE) conference
ASE Optics Europe participates in the SPIE Optical Systems Design Conference, a conference where the latest advances in the application of optical systems, materials and processing will be presented. Our technical director, Marta de la Fuente, is one of the members of the Symposium chair, and our CEO, Andrés Cifuentes, participates as a member of the committee. This will be the 11th edition of this symposium, and it still maintains the original essence: to be a forum for interdisciplinary meetings between technicians, engineers, scientists, researchers and managers related to the development of optical instrumentation at all levels: design, specifications, production and/or testing. This conference represents an excellent opportunity to stay informed and discuss the latest (and future) developments in optical design and how digital transformation and connectivity are driving these developments. Conference themes The conference has been organised around 6 main themes, to cover the main applications of optical system design (click on each for more information):
- Lighting optics
- Advances in thin films for optics
- Computational optics
- Manufacturing, testing and optical metrology
- Optical design and engineering
- Science, technology and applications of optical instrumentation
The submission period is open until 10 March 2021, and the official conference presentation can be downloaded at the following link. Important dates
- Submission of abstracts – March 10, 2021
- Notification to authors – May 10, 2021
- Submission of final manuscripts – August 18, 2021
