About ASE Optics

We founded ASE Optics in 1994 to provide optical engineering support for companies who can't find, can't afford, or can't justify having an optical engineer on staff.

We've provided optical engineering services to over 200 different clients, ranging from government agencies and universities to single-person startups.

In the course of doing work for our customers, we've created many inventions that have been worthy of patents. To date, our engineers have 10 patents issued and two patents pending. If the work we do for you produces a patented invention, we'll ensure that the patent is assigned to your company.

The purpose of our Discovery Service is to help our customers better understand both their problem and our ability to solve it. Many times we find a complete solution during the discovery phase. Your time is a precious commodity, so we work to complete our Discovery Service contracts in less than 2 weeks. This ensures that our Discovery Service provides a quick and valuable product at a reasonable cost.
