About ASE Optics

ASE Optics, an RPO Company, is an engineering services firm based in Rochester, NY. We founded ASE Optics in 1994 to provide optical engineering support for companies who can't find, can't afford, or can't justify having an optical engineer on staff.

Over the years, we've provided optical engineering services to over 200 different clients, from government agencies and universities to single-person startups.

Our work with those customers has created:

• 14 patented inventions (with 2 more pending), many assigned to our customers
• Successful products based on our lens and assembly designs

As your project moved from lens and assembly design to prototype to manufacturing, we can help. Our acquisition by Rochester Precision Optics helps customers move projects seamlessly into production, and offers better access to technology, clean room facilities and testing systems.

Our Discovery Service helps you better understand both the problem and our ability to solve it. Many times we find a complete solution during the discovery phase. Your time is a precious commodity, so we work to complete our Discovery Service contracts in less than 2 weeks. This ensures that our Discovery Service provides a quick and valuable product at a reasonable cost.
